In February 2018, Judy Alexander saw and bought a warehouse. It was in need of a lot of cleaning up and in the middle of an industrial area.
"I wanted one space to do all my shopping," said Alexander. "A community filled with artists and local vendors to sell their wares in an affordable setting."
Her dream become a reality in May 2018 when the doors opened to the public. The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime started with a few vendors and is now over 30.
Alexander was a professional volunteer with no business acumen. Her daughter, Kim Livengood, a serial entrepreneur, runs the day to day operations, public relations and marketing.
Together, this mother daughter duo have created a community in the heart of The Limelight District.
